WHO WE ARE
The Opal Collective was created in 2021 by sisters Rachel Konrade and Emily Seuell. Rachel and Emily have had a passion for design since they were young, but it wasn't until Rachel's own wedding in 2019 that their dream for wedding design and planning materialized. Rachel's bohemian vintage style and Emily's groovy yet modern aesthetic come together perfectly to offer a variety of event rentals and a broad range for beautiful wedding design. They work together to make sure that your wedding is everything you envision for your day, and love working with couples every step of the way!

RACHEL KONRADE
Owner | Event Planner | Event Designer
Rachel has a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Art. Although she loves science, her passion is art and design. She dreams of one day building a barn to host weddings and other events, and continue to grow The Opal Collective to reach couples throughout the state of Kansas. Rachel is very organized and detail-oriented which is evident in her designs as each event has a personal touch making them unique to the bride and groom.
EMILY SEUELL
Owner | Event Planner | Event Designer
Emily went to school for Graphic Design and has an eye for up and coming styles and trends. Her dream is to become a full-time wedding planner and travel the country designing beautiful events, making couples' wishes come true. Emily is great at envisioning the whole picture and how to bring different elements together in a cohesive, well-planned design.
JULIA IRMINGER
Event Planner | Event Designer
Julia is a student at the University of Kansas, majoring in journalism and strategic communications and minoring in business. She has always been a creative person who loves exploring different mediums of design and testing her eye for aesthetics. Her interest in wedding design has steadily grown since dreaming of her own wedding at a young age, and she is happy to be a part of the wedding vendor community in Kansas City.
